Some idiot (Simon) decided to start a small artisan ice-cream business in December 2004 when it would be quiet for ice-cream sales, and then decided that he could fit it in to his duties as Managing Director.  Bashall Barn won the Made in Lancashire ice cream award in 2005 and Simon panicked!

Summer 2005 saw ice-cream sales like never before and despite being asked by many people to supply ice-cream to other shops, if you want the best ice-cream in Lancashire you still have to come and find us.
